HIV/AIDS Pilot Study

Proof of efficacy pilot study with HIV/AIDS patients using AquaLiv's NatuRx™ HIV/AIDS treatment. Status: Complete

Patient A

Age: 58
Gender: Female
Nationality: Japanese
Duration: Feb 2007 – Feb 2011
Observed by: Dr. Takemi Ichimura, Chief Science Officer - AquaLiv, Inc.

Overview

Patient A was diagnosed with HIV & AIDS when she was 58 years old in August 1997. Clinical test data prior to start of NatuRx™ HIV was provided to the patient by Tokyo Metropolitan Hospital. Patient A was taking antiretroviral (ARV) drugs before and during the study.

Remarks

Early in her diagnosis, Patient A could no longer bear the pain caused by the antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) and openly stated she would preferred to die. Patient A volunteered for the NatuRx™ HIV Pilot Study with the hope that others may benefit from the knowledge gained during the study. Remarkably, she is presently living an ordinary life as her quality of life has been profoundly enhanced. Patient A responded to the treatment extremely well showing great increases in CD4 (good) and decreases in Viral Load (good). Patient A also gained much needed weight during the treatment.

  • According to her doctor, a Viral Load of less than 40 indicates the virus cannot be detected in the blood.
  • HIV was detected in the blood only one time (October 2009) during the NatuRx™ HIV treatment.
  • From Feb 2010, the ARV drugs were decreased to 2/3 of the standard dosage.

Age: 57
Gender: Male
Nationality: Japanese
Duration: April 2008 – April 2011
Observed by: Dr. Takemi Ichimura, Chief Science Officer - AquaLiv, Inc.

Overview

Patient B volunteered for the NatuRx™ HIV Pilot Study and began treatment February 2008. He is infected with HIV as well as the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) which was additionally monitored during the treatment. He responded to the treatment extremely well showing great increases in CD4 (good) and decreases in Viral Load (good). Remarkably, his HCV Counts plummeted during the treatment (good). (HCV Count = Hepatitis C Viral Load)
