Thomas Gray, the English poet, wrote, "Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise." No better a description can be found to the beginnings of AquaLiv. Being a natural health enthusiast, scientist, and simply knowing too much about water left me in a personal predicament. I couldn't find a water good enough for me to drink. So, I set out to remedy this situation. The goal was simple, but not easy- create the most perfect water one could ever find in nature.
I invested a small fortune and one year of my life inventing a technology that mimicked natural processes to enhance water on a molecular level. Shortly thereafter I founded AquaLiv with the mission to bottle and deliver this most healthful water. The year was 2006.
Today you can read through pages of testimonials sent to us by our grateful customers. Drinkers of AquaLiv Water have reported numerous health improvements from reduced colds and allergies to simply having more energy. Some diabetics have even been able to reduce their insulin requirements. This opportunity to improve peoplesʼ lives is my passion and the reason I have invested the last five years of my life into this company.
In 2009, Dr. Ichimura, now our Chief Science Officer, contacted me to discuss his technology which had similarities to one of the three used to create AquaLiv Water. Specifically, his bioinfomation technology. Let me be the first to admit that in this area, Dr. Ichimura's technology was far more advanced than my own. Being one of the few individuals able to understand his work, we became good friends. By 2010 we had decided to join forces and AquaLivʼs collective technologies and capabilities became significantly more advanced almost overnight.
In the end, it was more than a common area of research that brought us together. It was a feeling that the world desperately needs what we have and that somehow we must deliver it. Now AquaLiv has a new vision: a world without hunger, sickness, and pollution.
AquaLiv is more than just a business. Our work is significant and truly touches lives. All companies have a mission and AquaLiv is no different. What may be different is that our entire team lives this mission daily. Our technology can ʻfeed and heal the worldʼ, as our mission states, but we know this technology cannot reach those in need all by itself. We feel we've been entrusted with a great responsibility and that itʼs up to us to make it happen.
Thank you for taking an interest in our work.
Sincerely,
Craig Hoffman develops a technology to enhance water on a molecular level to achieve greater health. He founds AquaLiv in Seattle, Washington to bottle and distribute this advanced health-improving water.
AquaLiv relocates to Rainier, Washington for a pristine source of water to be used in the AquaLiv process.
After two years of research and development, Mr. Hoffman succeeds in miniaturizing and re-engineering the core AquaLiv technologies. The AquaLiv Water System, a consumer device that creates AquaLiv Water, is born.
Mr. Hoffman is contacted by a representative of Dr. Takemi Ichimura based on some similarities between their technologies. Dr. Ichimura and Mr. Hoffman discuss the science and become good friends.
Mr. Hoffman and Dr. Ichimura join forces. Dr. Ichimura is named Chief Science Officer and brings with him close to 50 years of bioinformation research. AquaLiv, Inc.ʼs collective technologies and capabilities become significantly more advanced almost overnight.
AquaLiv relocates operations to Seattle, Washington and announces the release of its first agriculture product, AgSmart Rice. The company concludes a successful pilot HIV/AIDS study and announces plans for a clinical trial in Kenya.
